Dr. Tony Kang is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and medical retina specialist who values a collaborative approach to create treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual patient.

He performs cataract surgery utilizing the latest innovations including laser-assisted surgery as well as multifocal and toric lens implants. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of medical retinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and retinal tears. He has published several peer-reviewed articles and has been a co-investigator for many clinical trials in Retina including the investigation of pegcetacoplan for the treatment of geographic atrophy in dry macular degeneration.

Dr. Kang’s interest outside of medicine include basketball, hiking, and spending time with his wife and three children.
